塗香とは、香木や漢薬などの香原料を細かくしたものを、体に塗布するお香です。
古くから修行者が身を清め、邪気を近づけないよう使用されていました。参拝の際のお清めや、身だしなみの一つとしても使用されています。

あめつち..では、本来使用される香原料に、アロマオイルを染み込ませた屋久杉チップをブレンドすることで、華やかさと親しみやすさを感じられるものに仕上がりました。

Description
This is Ametsuchi’s original Zu-kō, created for use with our sazare-kō incense.
Zu-kō is a traditional Japanese incense made by finely grinding fragrant woods, herbs, and medicinal plants, which is then applied to the body.
Historically, it was used by ascetics to purify themselves and ward off negative energies.
It has also been used for cleansing before shrine visits or as part of personal grooming rituals.
At Ametsuchi, we enhance the traditional ingredients by blending them with Yakusugi chips infused with essential oils, adding a gentle fragrance and approachable elegance.
The result is a Zu-kō that feels both ceremonial and inviting, combining the heritage of Japanese incense with a subtle aromatic touch.
