富士山の溶岩を砕き細かくしたものを染料として使い、野蚕生地を一枚一枚染め上げています。
溶岩そのものは、荒々しく力強い印象なのですが、染色後は、とても優しいピンク色に仕上がります。
繊細な色めなのに、富士山の雄大さ、まさに地球の息吹を感じさせる、そんな上品で美しい逸品です。

京扇子の大むら様に、一つ一つ仕立てあげていただきました。

This Sensu is dyed using finely crushed lava from Mount Fuji, applied as a natural dye to wild silk fabric. While lava itself carries a rugged, powerful image, the finished dye reveals a surprisingly soft and gentle pink hue.

Delicate in tone yet imbued with the grandeur of Mount Fuji, this elegant piece evokes the breath and energy of the Earth itself. It is a refined and beautiful item that balances subtlety with natural strength.

Each sensu is carefully handcrafted by Kyoto folding fan artisans at Kyofūan Ōmura, preserving the tradition and craftsmanship of authentic Japanese sensus.
